Faringdon Pump Track Underway!

FLOW Rollover installation at Faringdon Pump Track in Rolleston

Faringdon is a residential development in Rolleston, Canterbury that contains a large number of facilities available for the community to utilise. RICH Landscapes was contracted to design a concrete pump track that would fit the environment and tone of the community, providing an area for residents to engage in wheeled-play activity.

As part of their endevour to become more sustainable in their design and build practises, RICH Landscapes looked at FLOW GRC Rollovers  to reduce the amount of cement contain in the construction process while providing move ability of the features if required in the future. Being constructed with Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete it creates a hardwearing product that would stand the test of time in relation to other construction materials such as asphalt.

FLOW Skate Kerbs were also provided as part of the package to create a linear separation between the pedestrian pathway and Pump Track environment while providing additional wheeled play opportunities for the Slappy Curb enthusiast.

FLOW is excited to see this project underway being our first Rollover installation in New Zealand! After vigorous testing of our NZ made product we look forward to seeing more of these put into the ground in a variety of settings ranging from Pump Tracks, Schools, Bicycle Pathways, Skateparks and more!
